What is podcasting?

Podcasting is a way to distribute media contents over the internet. The contents can be subscribed and downloaded to a personal computer or a portable media device. A podcast can be described as an on-demand radio show or video programming.

Do I need an iPod or an MP3 player to listen or watch podcasts?

No. All you need is a computer with an internet connection (high speed connection is recommended for video contents). Our website makes it easy for you to listen/view the podcasts on your web browser. You can, however, download our contents onto an iPod or a portable media player.

Are CVMD podcasts free?

Yes. All audio and video contents on this website is free to download.

How do I subscribe to the contents?

You can subscribe to our contents using a software on your computer such as iTunes. There are links on our website that make it easy for you to subscribe to our podcasts on iTunes.

What are the system requirements for CVMD.org?

You will need a computer with an internet connection (broadband connection recommended for video contents). Most popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, or Safari will display the web site properly. To view our media contents, *Windows Media Player (9 or above) is required.

*Due to a drop in support for Macintosh computers, we recommend Flip4Mac as an alternative for Windows Media playback on Macintosh.

When playing video content in Firefox, the video is cropped and controls disappear.

The video sometimes displayed upside down and is colored green or orange?

This is a known bug with Windows Media Player. To solve the problem, you'll need to:

  • Make sure you have the latest release of Windows Media Player. Download
  • Install the patch that addresses the problem. Download
